Goalpost was originally devised to assist myself in speaking
Spanish. My name is Sahlan Diver, and I am an internationally shortlisted and longlisted author of mystery novels.
I spent several years learning Spanish online, but every time I went to Spain on holiday I'd feel frustrated with my inability at basic conversation.
The problem was lack of opportunity for practice. Conventional courses don't give you this, because their
repetitive pre-recorded audio quickly becomes predictable.
I needed an app to create random phrases, to help me master the unpredictably of live conversation. This was the basic
idea that led to the creation of the Goalpost app.
